Wonderful Culture, Food and Experiences
Amazing tour from start to finish! travelbuddies.co.uk arranged the trip on our behalf with Exotic Perla and Exotic Perla delivered a super, well balanced trip throughout. The Management team at Exotic Perla were very responsive to our needs and our guide Chinthaka (Chin) along with our friendly driver Kumar, ensured that we were safe, well informed and comfortable at all times. We certainly had a lot of fun on the two week trip, as well as receiving fascinating cultural insights from Chin. The hotels were excellent and Chin really excelled with his restaurant choices, so we have come away with wonderful, lingering memories of delicious Sri Lankan dishes. Sri Lanka is nothing but wonder
My husband and I are organizing our tour from Italy with them. Extremely transparent in every step and condition. They made our experience in this fantastic country unique. Their strong point? Attention to every detail, making the richness of this country known in the best way, but not only material, especially human. I have no words to describe, we can only say visit Sri Lanka with Exotic Perla. Magical experience!

Our Sri Lanka trip with Exotic Perla was truly something special for us.
Dreamy Sri Lanka round trip with Exotic Perla and Dammika We were traveling in Sri Lanka for a total of 16 days. Of that, we organized 6 days ourselves, while Exotic Perla planned and accompanied the remaining part of our trip. This combination worked very well for us because it allowed us to both travel individually and enjoy the benefits of a professionally organized round trip. We are truly thrilled with our Sri Lanka trip and love looking back on this time. Exotic Perla put together a great round trip for us, where simply so much was just right: the selection of places, the organization, the hotels, the food, and above all the personal support along the way. A very big thank you goes to Dammika, who was our driver and at the same time our German-speaking guide during the trip. For us, it was perfect. He drove us safely and relaxed through the country and at the same time told us a great deal about Sri Lanka, the people, the culture, and life there. What we found particularly pleasant about Dammika was his manner. He is rather reserved and never imposes himself, but is always attentive and there when you need him. At the same time, he is very professional, courteous, charming, and incredibly reliable. You simply feel in good hands with him. We can also really highly recommend him as a German-speaking guide. His explanations were interesting and understandable, without it ever feeling like a lecture. He addressed our questions, took his time, and always had a good sense of what was interesting to us at the moment. Some of our hotels were organized directly through Exotic Perla; we had booked other hotels ourselves. That was also no problem at all. The trips to our privately booked hotels were also handled by Dammika, so everything remained very uncomplicated for us throughout. We were very satisfied with the hotels selected by Exotic Perla. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, we were welcomed very hospitably everywhere, and we really felt comfortable. We also found the half-board in the hotels organized by Exotic Perla to be particularly positive. Breakfast and dinner were very good, the quality of the food convinced us, and everything was organized in a pleasant and uncomplicated way. Especially after a day rich in culture and experiences, it was nice to come back to a clean and pleasant hotel and let the day end in a relaxed manner over a good dinner. We also liked the route itself very much. It was a great mix of culture, nature, animals, landscapes, and relaxation. The selection of places was just right for us, and the individual days were varied without the trip seeming hectic. The organization by Exotic Perla was also very good. Everything ran reliably, the transfers worked, and we really didn't have to worry about anything. It was especially pleasant that the travel days and hotels we organized ourselves were also well integrated into the entire itinerary. Dammika made a huge difference for us. His pleasant, calm, and warm manner made the trip very personal. You never had the feeling of just being driven from one sight to the next. If you come to Sri Lanka and are looking for a German-speaking companion, we would really highly recommend Dammika. Feel free to specifically ask for him at Exotic Perla. For us, he was not just a driver and guide, but an important part of this beautiful trip. We are truly thrilled and would recommend both Exotic Perla and Dammika at any time. Great company to see Sri Lanka
Having just finished The Timeless wonders tour yesterday and now sitting having breakfast in Colombo we can thoroughly say that we have enjoyed the completed tour.Our guide/driver was fantastic nothing was too much trouble the guy was Buddhika and he is a credit to the company he adapted things to what we wanted to see and do ,stopped if we needed a rest break or simply take photos or to stretch our legs he informed us about ancient sites,temples etc we also had some free time where we could just relax by a hotel pool or just go wandering All in all we have had a great time and memories to take back home

So many wonderful to see
Our overall experience was amazing worth every moment and as mentioned our guide was very helpful. We were the only two in our group so we arrange different options to suit ourselves. Our length of cost covered two weeks and with so much going on (although we did have rest days) felt longer. As mentioned it was only us two so we had nothing to compare it too. Nice holiday

Great introduction to Sri Lanka’s history
A fantastic experience which provides an overall flavour of Sinhalese culture, geography and wildlife. It’s varied , covers the whole country ( we chose not to go to the far north) and enables you to get a real feel for the country and its people. Exotic Perla made our dream become reality!
When we booked this holiday with Exotic Perla, I had no idea of what to expect. We left Western Australia in the coldness of winter and emerged into Sri Lanka to the warmest welcome by our brilliant guide Buddhika. We have chosen the 12 day Breathtaking Experience. From the moment we met, Buddhika has gone out of his way to show us the beautiful country he calls home. His depth of knowledge about Sri Lankan history has been absolutely impressive. I have learnt so much about the tenacity of these beautiful people. Everywhere we have gone, we have been greeted with smiles. The hotels we have stayed in have been in stunning locations from beach front to rain forrest. Every tour we have been on has been organised with care. We have snorkelled and seen beautiful coral and fish at Trincomalee. Had a dawn hike to watch the sun rise from Isurumuniya Rock Temple. Visited sacred Buddhist temples and the Bohdi Tree at Anuradhapura. Admired ancient paintings in caves where Buddha sleeps. Marvelled at the colourful Hindu temples. The food we have eaten has been mouthwatering, and we have learnt how to prepare Sri Lankan curry powder and how to grate fresh coconut.... train rides, tuk tuk rides, ox cart rides, boat rides through mangrove forests and lotus ponds... so many beautiful memories created. We could not have had a better guide than Buddhika for the entire 12 days. He has made us laugh, is a fountain of knowledge, and we were so touched at his suprise birthday cake and beers for John! I think we can now call him friend! He has been a superb driver - we travelled in comfort in his BYD.... we can not thank him and Exotic Perla enough for making this dream come true!
